Pantodame 40 contains Pantoprazole 40 mg, a selective and irreversible inhibitor of the H+/K+ ATPase proton pump located in the gastric parietal cells. By blocking this enzyme, Pantodame 40 produces a potent and prolonged suppression of gastric acid secretion — providing fast, lasting relief from acid-related disorders.

Pantodame 40 is indicated for the treatment of Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) including erosive esophagitis, symptomatic heartburn, peptic ulcer disease (gastric and duodenal ulcers), Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, and for prophylaxis of NSAID-induced ulcers as directed by a physician. The tablet is designed for once-daily administration, making it highly convenient for patient compliance.
